Our sizing process starts with the physical garment.
Styles are laid flat and measured by hand. Where needed, flat measurements are doubled to show full circumference.
These are garment measurements, not body measurements.
Your bust, waist and hip measurements tell you about your body. Our product measurements tell you about the garment.
Christina recommends comparing them with something you already own:
‘The measurements we give you allow you to check against a garment you own at home of a similar style and fabrication. That is my top tip.’
For example, if you are considering a linen dress, measure a similar linen dress in your wardrobe that already fits well and compare those measurements with the product page.
You can find more guidance in our size guide and guide on how to find the perfect fit online.
Detailed and accurate style measurements are a great start – but form only part of our commitment to helping you find your perfect fit for online-shopping confidence.
We also report on the fabric, stretch, silhouette and amount of ease designed into each style – factors that you could traditionally only assess in real-life.
Our Pinkenba retail store team sees new styles worn on real bodies and hears directly from customers about how they fit. That feedback can help inform the fit information we list on each product page.
Customer reviews provide another real-world reference.
When it comes to merchandising, we select brands and products that align with fit and functionality important to our customer. Our team looks for comfortable cuts, stretch, elasticated waists, considered lengths and practical coverage.
As Saffron says: ‘We won’t compromise on fit over a trend.’
