Product Care

Leather

Always protect leather shoes with a leather protector prior to wearing them for the first time. Apply a leather conditioner once every few months to prevent cracking. Remove dirt after wear with a damp cloth - be sure to fully dry them. We've got a step by step guide for cleaning your leather sneakers on our blog. All you need is toothpaste, a toothbrush, a magic eraser & paper towel.

Espadrilles

Avoid water and mud where possible. If you do get your espadrilles muddy, wait for them to completely dry, then gently brush off the dirt with a shoe brush or toothbrush.

Canvas

Canvas shoes are a favourite as they are super easy to care for. We recommend a fabric protector as a preventative measure.

The washing machine can be your best friend for canvas shoes, but will reduce the lifespan compared to hand washing. The best method for hand washing is to create a paste with water and laundry detergent, then gently rub with a toothbrush. Place the canvas shoes upside down in a shallow bowl of water (keep soles above the water level) and leave to soak for 15 minutes. It's always best to remove the laces when using this method.

Tips For Online Shoe Shopping

1. Compare the insole measurements in the size guide to your foot measurements. We measure length from toe to heel and width directly across the widest point of the ball of the foot. If you usually wear a wide or narrow fit this will be the most accurate way to determine your size.

2. Take into consideration the material and style of the shoe. Synthetics will hold their shape while leather will soften and stretch slightly with wear. Are you buying sneakers or slides? If you plan on wearing socks with your shoes measure your foot with a sock on.

3. Trust our fit size advice. Every fit guide includes our true AU and EU fit size recommendations. We take into account the individual measurements of the shoe and standard Australian sizing to suggest your best size. Think of the fit size as your cheat sheet for finding the perfect fit!
