Puffer Jackets

Explore Our Women's Puffer Jacket Collection

There’s something undeniably comforting about wrapping yourself in a puffer jacket that’s built for warmth and designed with care. At Blue Bungalow, we’ve curated a collection of puffer jackets that suit the unique lifestyle and climate of New Zealand. Whether you’re heading out on a brisk morning walk through the park, navigating cooler evenings on the coast, or needing something practical and stylish for everyday errands, our puffer jackets bring together functionality, flattering fits and effortless style.

We know that New Zealand’s weather can shift quickly – sunny skies turning to showers or a southerly breeze arriving without much warning. That’s why we’ve focused on jackets that are not only insulating but also water-resistant, lightweight, and easy to layer. From the classic black puffer jacket women trust for its go-with-everything appeal, to long puffer jackets that offer extra warmth during the depths of winter, every style in our range is chosen with your comfort and confidence in mind.

Puffer Jackets That Balance Warmth, Style and Everyday Ease

A great puffer jacket does more than keep out the cold – it moves with you, adapts to your day, and works seamlessly with your wardrobe. We believe outerwear should feel just as stylish as your favourite jumper or pair of jeans. That’s why we’ve chosen puffer jackets with clever features like hidden zip closures, plush linings, and adjustable hoods - so you’re ready for anything the weather throws your way.

Our jackets are made from lightweight fabrics that keep you warm without weighing you down, ideal for layering over everything from chunky knits to flowing tunics. We’ve included thoughtful details like soft cuffs to keep out the chill and deep pockets for your essentials.

How to Wear Long Puffer Jackets

Long puffer jackets are a winter essential, particularly when those chilly southerlies hit. But staying warm doesn’t mean sacrificing your style. The key to wearing a longer puffer is all in the balance – think slim-fitting jeans or ponte pants underneath, paired with a simple knit or long-sleeved top to create a streamlined look.

You can add shape by belting the jacket at the waist or go for a relaxed finish with an open front and scarf draped over the shoulders. A long puffer jacket women can rely on is perfect for everything from the school run to weekend markets. Finish with a classic leather ankle boot, a waterproof sneaker or even a tall boot when the weather’s particularly wild – ideal for keeping you warm and dry without compromising your outfit.

Our collection includes timeless colours like navy, olive, and black, as well as soft neutrals and subtle prints – tones that layer well with your existing wardrobe.

Everyday Style Built to Adapt

New Zealand’s weather can be famously unpredictable – which is exactly why our puffer jackets are made to be as versatile as they are stylish. Whether it’s a quick downpour or a cold snap that creeps in unexpectedly, our water-resistant puffer jackets have you covered. Zip up, pull the hood snug, and carry on with your day in comfort.

How to Wash a Puffer Jacket

Taking a little extra care with your puffer jacket can go a long way in keeping it looking and feeling fabulous for years. As a general rule, we recommend handwashing it in cool water with a gentle detergent—skip the fabric softener, as it can compromise the jacket’s insulation. For the best results, always refer to the specific care label on your jacket.

When it comes to drying, steer clear of the dryer. Instead, let your puffer air-dry flat or consider professional dry cleaning. Avoid wringing or hanging it while wet, as this can alter its shape. With a bit of thoughtful care, your Blue Bungalow puffer will stay snug, stylish, and ready for every chilly day ahead.
