BBIC Live: Spotlight on the... Abby Red Abstract Tier Dress
Here is a link to this week's video: https://fb.watch/7i1kvvNJZf/
Today we’re showcasing the Abby Red Abstract Tier Dress with Sammy, who is joining us for the first time!
Sammy wears the Abby Dress in a size M/L, which fits sizes 14-16; the dress is also available in S/M (10-12) and Curve (18-22).
The dress is super comfortable, made of 100% rayon. It has a really nice empire line. Even with a rather large bust, there is plenty of room and it sits nice and flat on the chest. It leaves enough fabric to move around and it’s not too tight around the arms. Everything about this dress just screams comfort and lightness!
And ladies - this dress has pockets! We absolutely love dresses with pockets here at BB. These ones are nice and camouflaged.
Sammy has paired the dress with the Calgary Black Mid Ankle Boot - we’re already in trans seasonal weather here in Queensland but we know that’s not the case just yet for our Southern ladies or any ladies who might be watching us from New Zealand.
But the nice thing about this dress is that there is plenty of room to do some layering. You could pop on a nice little poncho over the dress like the Kani Black Knit Poncho - if you’re still in colder weather this is a great option. It feels divine, not too heavy, and also comes in navy.
Another great option would be a black denim jacket, the Danielle Black Stretch Jean Jacket - this is an ultra stretchy jacket, it’s super comfortable on the body thanks to the 3% spandex.
For the colder times, you could layer with a black bamboo skivvy that can sit nicely underneath the dress like the Black Bamboo Turtleneck Top - this is a beautiful lightweight fabric that feels just like silk on the skin and will fit nicely and snuggly under your dress.
Another option would be to put on a lovely legging underneath like the Riley Black Bamboo Legging - this is how our model is wearing it on the website, with black boots. Again, these are bamboo so silky soft on the skin.
Wearing leggings underneath dresses has been a BB favourite outfit this winter! But that’s what we love about the Abby Dress, you can wear it just as well in winter as in summer.
If you’re an hourglass like Sammy and want to cinch in your waist you can belt this up! The Rooney Black Stretch Buckle Belt doesn’t have any holes, it’s just a stretchy elastic which means that you can wear it anywhere, you’re not restricted as to where you can wear it on your body - ultimate comfort and a bargain.
Another option if you want to be a little bit more casual is to take off the boots and grab a pair of white sneakers or any form of flat slide or shoe. The Paradise White Leather Sneakers are great, they have a platform sole to give you a bit of a lift - so if you usually wear heels but want to take a break for the day or if you’re on the shorter side, these are a great option.
Changing your shoes and adding a jacket is an easy way to take your outfit from day to night!
*Update: the Rooney Black Stretch Buckle Belt is now sold out, but try the Aldo Black Stretch Tortoiseshell Buckle Belt.
