Why Choose Cotton
Natural Fibre
Cotton is a natural fabric derived from plants, rather than being man-made like polyester. Because it can be grown organically without the use of harsh chemicals, it’s a more planet-friendly choice.
Breathable
Cotton is a naturally breathable fabric that helps keep you cool and comfortable throughout the day. Soft against the skin and easy to wear, it’s a reliable choice for everyday comfort no matter the season.
Hypoallergenic
Known for its hypoallergenic qualities, cotton is kind to the skin and suitable for everyday wear. It’s a comfortable option for those who prefer fabrics that feel soft and irritation-free.
Care Instructions
How to wash cotton clothes?
To keep your cotton clothes in great shape, machine wash on a gentle or normal cycle in cold water with like colours. Always refer to care labels as different cotton blends may require special attention.
How to dry cotton clothes?
You should ideally air dry them to avoid any shrinkage but, if you’re really short on time, put them in the dryer on a low heat setting. Not only does air-dying help your garments last it is also better for the planet!
Can you iron cotton?
Of course! Plug in your iron on medium-high heat, dampen your cotton garment using the steam function or a spray bottle filled with water and iron away. Not a fan of ironing? We also have a range of no-iron cotton with a lovely crushed look.
How to store cotton clothing?
Storing cotton clothes is pretty fuss-free; clothes can be folded or hung in a cool, dark place. If your garment has a knit texture we recommend folding to maintain its original shape.
Answering Your Frequntly Asked Questions
As a general rule, you can use your favourite stain remover and let it set for a few minutes before gently scrubbing at the stain with a cloth and washing the garment as per the care label.
One of the main downsides of cotton is that it does wrinkle more easily than most fabrics… but nothing that can’t be fixed with a quick iron! And it is a pretty fuss-free fabric; no need to worry about choosing the perfect setting or reaching an ideal low temperature, cotton can take the heat.
Hot tip: try crinkle cotton if you hate ironing as much as we do!
Do you have a favourite cotton t-shirt that has become a bit rough after one too many washes? Just add half a cup of white vinegar to your next wash, it will act as a natural fabric softener - just like the effect that a nice glass of wine has on us after a long stressful day.

Cotton does tend to shrink - especially when washed in hot water or put in the dryer. To avoid that happening, wash in cold water with like colours and air dry your cotton pieces.
Yes, high-quality cotton is naturally soft due to the nature of the fibre used in its production but, ultimately, how soft it feels will depend on how the fabric was woven and how you care for it. As cotton absorbs moisture, it can also tend to soak up extra detergent or fabric softener so, like everything in life, don’t overdo it.
